Chapter 97
The “Good” Doctor
The next afternoon, Vanessa was admitted to Pink Top General Hospital in the ICU. She cried into her hands with Demetrio and Sylvia on each side of her. Blair stood at the end of the bed.
Demetrio: “You KNOW how I feel about abortion, and you were trying to force her to kill this baby! FOR WHAT?! SELFISH REASONS!”
He bellowed at Blair. Blair drew back, and his bottom lip trembled. Sylvia rose to Blair.
Sylvia: “Demetrio, Blair cannot force Vanessa to do something she doesn’t want to. Emotions are running high.”
Vanessa: “My baby is dead!”
She bawled and embraced herself.
Demetrio: “We found her last night at the foot of the stairs, bleeding. I know she and Ivy haven’t been getting along. Did she do this, Blair?”
He gazed at him intently. Blair embraced himself.
Vanessa: “Ivy shoved me down the stairs, and I was fine! And then… I blacked out and I woke up with blood!”
She wailed loudly. Sylvia hugged her and patted her back.
Sylvia: “The toxicology results will be in soon.”
She reassured her.
Demetrio: “Did Ivy do this, Sylvia?”
He asked her, boring his blue eyes on her.
Demetrio: “If so, Ivy is OUT.”
Blair glared at his grandfather.
Blair: “And not her for being a slut who slept with a married man?!”
He hissed. Demetrio gaped at his grandson. Vanessa cried into her hands.
Sylvia: “PLEASE! ENOUGH!”
She put her hands up.
Sylvia: “Blair, you need to support your cousin in time of need.”
She said firmly. She turned to Demetrio.
Sylvia: “Demetrio, I know things between Ivy and Vanessa have been… heated, but a fall down the stairs doesn’t cause a miscarriage. Please wait for the toxicology results. Also, bear in mind, Ivy was with her father and sister at Pizza Hutch. When we found Vanessa, she wasn’t back.”
She nodded. Demetrio looked away.
Demetrio: “Blair, family sticks together. Your cousin has no one else in this world but us, and we’re going to be there for her. If Ivy doesn’t like it, she can leave.”
He waved his hand at Blair. Blair looked away, hurt.
Sylvia: “Shouldn’t Ivy be here with you and supporting you? Why weren’t you with her last night?”
She folded her arms over, gazing at Blair. Blair shrugged.
Blair: “I don’t know, Sylvia.”
Syvlia gazed at Blair.
Sylvia: “...Is everything okay between you two?”
She whispered. Blair forced a smile.
Blair: “Couldn’t be better.”
Sylvia gave him an incredulous look but nodded.
She patted his back and led him out.
Sylvia: “Come, Blair. Let’s get a soda.”
Blair embraced himself.
Blair: “Why?”
Sylvia: “Just to get out of there for a minute. I know this has been difficult for you.”
She said gently. Blair bowed his head. Tell me about it, he thought. I can’t even look at Ashley without wanting to rage since they betrayed me, he thought bitterly.
Sylvia and Blair stood before the vending machine, looking at various drinks and candy.
They heard a woman sobbing in the corridor. Sylvia turned in the direction it came from and raised an eyebrow. There was a short, fat white woman with short light blue hair crying. She looked to be in her mid-sixties. There was a man and a woman with her, who looked like her children. The woman cried to a black nurse.
Woman: “My husband, Allan, is missing! I don’t know what happened! No one saw him leave! I want to know what happened!”
Nurse: “We’re sorry, Mrs. Alcott. We’re doing all we can to find your husband. Sometimes patients can sleepwalk, and they will leave their rooms. Rest assured, we’re looking for him.”
She looked through the logs.
Mrs. Alcott: “Why wasn’t a code green issued?! What is going on?!”
She demanded.
Mrs. Alcott: “How could he be missing?! How could you let a patient slip under your radar?! Where is my husband!? Allan is a loving husband, father, and a good man!”
She sobbed and blew her nose into a facial tissue. Her kids consoled her, and the nurse looked at her sympathetically.
Sylvia raised an eyebrow. How did he go missing without an alert being set in motion? She wondered.
Tristan and Deimos walked down the foyer. Tristan wore a long gray trench coat over a black turtleneck sweater, gray trousers, and black Wingtip Oxfords. Deimos wore a leather jacket, Not a Plaything t-shirt, torn jeans, and cowboy boots. He had his clip-on shades over his glasses and was carrying a bag. Blair rolled his eyes when he saw them.
Sylvia waved her hand to greet them, and Blair shot an icy glare at her. Sylvia glanced at Blair and put her hand up.
Sylvia: “Greetings, Gentlemen!”
She nodded. Tristan smiled.
Tristan: “Hello, Sylvia.”
Blair looked away, pouting.
Deimos: “We’re not going to stay long. Your toddler is pouting.”
He said dryly. Sylvia put her hand up.
Sylvia: “Deimos, please. Now is not the time.”
She said firmly but gently.
Tristan raised his head to Mrs. Alcott.
Tristan: “We came to visit an old family friend…”
His voice trailed off. He approached Mrs. Alcott. She gasped and rushed to Tristan.
Mrs. Alcott: “TRISTAN! So good to see you!”
Tristan smiled down at her.
Tristan: “What’s troubling you, Mrs. Alcott? My grandmother informed me that Allan was in the hospital. I came to see Allan and deliver his favorite wine from Selene Valley.”
He nodded to Deimos, who pulled out a bottle of Red Tail Chardonnay. Mrs. Alcott laughed a bit through her sobs.
Mrs. Alcott: “Oh, Tristan, he would love that, but he has been missing. No one in this godforsaken hospital has seen him leave! It’s not like my Allan to do this! He never sleepwalked and wouldn’t leave without direct authorization.”
She cried as she hit her palm with the back of her hand. Tristan cupped his chin. Deimos glanced at Tristan and swung his gaze to Mrs. Alcott.
Blair: “I love how you two are here to see someone your grandmother knows and not Vanessa!”
He snapped. Tristan rolled his eyes and turned to Blair.
Tristan: “Allan was an old family friend, Blair. Vanessa is nothing to us.”
Sylvia frantically waved her hands around.
Sylvia: “Now, now, now! Blair, please!”
She whispered hoarsely.
Sylvia: “I do apologize for his brash behavior, gentlemen!”
She made a praying gesture with her hands and bowed.
Deimos: “Don’t mention it. Blair has to whine about something, or he could shrivel up and die. I considered that fact, and therefore, he can use us as his emotional punching bags because he’s miserable with Ivy.”
He said dryly. Blair gaped at Deimos with shock.
Deimos: “What, I’m right, aren’t I?”
He asked wryly.
Sylvia threw her hands up.
Sylvia: “Vanessa lost her baby. Demetrio thinks Ivy did this. I don’t.”
She stated. Tristan quirked an eyebrow.
Tristan: “She miscarried? How could Ivy cause that?”
He asked, his curiosity piqued.
Sylvia: “We found her at the bottom of the stairs… bleeding from her private area. But Ivy was out with her father and sister at Pizza Hutch.”
Tristan rolled his eyes. Not really, she spent most of that whining to me and tickling me, he thought.
Tristan: ‘Look, I know Ivy can be a… handful…”
Deimos: “That’s an understatement.”
He interjected flatly. Tristan cleared his throat.
Tristan: “Nevertheless, this doesn’t seem like something she would do. A fall from the stairs, while alarming, doesn’t typically cause miscarriages. You mentioned you found her bleeding at the bottom of the stairs. Was the blood fresh? Do you recall?”
Blair: “Why are you asking these stupid questions?!”
He hissed. Deimos shot him a glare.
Deimos: “Hey, Blair, I have a fun game you might like. If you shut the fuck up, I don’t beat the shit out of you. Does that sound fun?”
He fielded scathingly.
Sylvia put her hands up.
Sylvia: “ENOUGH!”
She shouted and turned to Blair.
Sylvia: “Blair, ENOUGH! Your animosity toward these young men is based on something that occurred SIX YEARS AGO or more! It’s time to get over it and learn to be civil with one another! You three are 23-year-old men now, not teenagers anymore!”
She snapped at Blair, who drew back, his bottom lip trembling.
Blair: “You don’t get it, do you?! They were mean to me in high school! You won Nobel Prizes when you were my age, so you get NOTHING, Sylvia!”
He cried and shoved her, running away from them.
Deimos: “Best rebuttal ever, if you ask me. You won a Nobel Prize, therefore, you don’t understand his sorrow.”
He said in a fake crying voice.
Sylvia hung her head and drew a long breath.
Tristan: “You can only do so much, Sylvia. Blair’s animosity is one-sided. He bears a hatred for me, but I don’t care enough to share the feeling. He’s trying to beat me at a game I am not playing.”
He shrugged.
Tristan: “Moreover, his actions indicate that he cares more about his one-sided rivalry with Deimos and me than the welfare of his cousin.”
He folded his arms. Sylvia bowed her head. She didn’t know how to respond to that.
Sylvia: “In any case, to answer your question, the blood was fresh.”
Tristan nodded.
Tristan: “Interesting…”
~
That night, Celeste and Jaxon were in their bedroom, on their bed, baring their naked bodies to each other. Celeste lay down, and Jaxon hovered over her. Celeste reached up, cupping his face and stroking her thumb on his cheek.
Jaxon stroked Celeste’s pussy with the tip of his cock. He kissed her mouth, her neck, her large breasts, all while rubbing his cock against her. When she started to open up to him, he pushed the tip inside. She moved her hips into his, rocking him deeper inside her. Celeste moaned and wrapped her entire body around him. Her legs and arms, her chin on his shoulder, her mouth at his ear. With his hands firmly wrapped around her, he held her to him, rocking his hips into his ladylove.
The way Celeste moved, her lower body working against his hard and hungry thrusts, showed she was on the edge. Jaxon pushed into her with strong but controlled thrusts.
She clenched around his cock; he knew she was almost there. With a series of rapid thrusts, he pushed her the rest of the way. With a whimper in his ear and her nails in his neck, she climaxed all around him. He kept thrusting until he came with a loud groan. The pleasure of it wrecked him, sent him reeling.
They lay back panting. Jaxon took some facial tissues to wipe his member down. They heard a can rolling on the concrete outside. Celeste bolted upright.
Celeste: “What was that?!”
Jaxon wrapped his arms around her protectively and sauntered over to the window to investigate. Celeste looked up at him and rested her head on his chest. No one was outside. The gate flapped in the wind.
Jaxon: “That’s the second night in a row…”
He pondered.
Celeste: “This isn’t a coincidence…”
She drew a long breath.
Jaxon: “Every time we have sex? Come on!”
He laughed bitterly. Celeste shifted her eyes.
Celeste: “You think someone is watching us?”
She asked him. Jaxon twisted his mouth.
Jaxon: “Yeah…”
He huffed.
She rose and placed her hands on the wall of his chest.
Jaxon: “Don't worry your pretty little head. I won't let bad shit happen to you.”
He assured her. Celeste stood on her tippy-toes to kiss him.
Celeste: “I know, babe.”
She said softly. Jaxon kissed her back.
He threw on his silk red dragon robe, tied the sash, took her hand, and went to investigate. Celeste grabbed her silk purple cat robe and shrugged into it. They went outside to the pool area. Celeste looked around to see if anything was out of place. She closed the gate and locked it. Celeste saw something in the grass by the gate. She picked it up.
Celeste: “A pen?”
She turned the barrel and saw it was for Pink Top General Hospital. Jaxon frowned.
Jaxon: “The hospital?!?”
He gaped.
Jaxon: “Fuckin’ Ichiro?!?!”
He fumed and clenched his teeth. Celeste swung her gaze to him.
Celeste: “Are you sure it’s him? He seemed so… boring and bland, but when we learned of what Tristan told us…”
She tilted her head and shifted her eyes. She thought of Tristan contesting the will and wondered if he was coming by because of this, but watching us… make love, she pondered.
Jaxon: “Who else would it be?!”
He twisted his mouth.
Celeste: “I didn’t think he would be informed you were contesting the will so quickly.”
She bowed her head.
Jaxon: “Has he been watching us?!”
He gaped. She embraced herself.
Celeste: “I don’t know, Jax. I want to say no, but… I don’t know.”
She sighed.
~
That afternoon, while Jaxon was still sleeping, Celeste got dressed after she had gotten out of the shower. She put on a clean pair of black lace panties and a matching bra, and slid her feet into black pantyhose, pulling those up. She put on a black tank top and a leather skirt, spritzed some perfume on, and started applying her makeup.
She left their room, shrugging into her leather jacket, and went to the door where she slid her tiny pantyhosed feet into her thigh-high boots. She grabbed her purse and went out the door.
~
That evening, Jaxon was outside on the backyard pool deck, sitting at the table. He wore a black silk snake skin shirt with the buttons unsnapped to expose his dragon tattoo, tight black jeans, and Chelsea boots. He was smoking a cigarette. Noah came out with a net to clean the pool.
Jaxon: “Huh… It’s quiet and boring.”
He pouted.
Jaxon: “Where is my Green Queen?!”
He huffed. Noah glanced at Jaxon.
Noah: “She left this afternoon. She hasn’t come back, sir.”
He said coolly.
Jaxon: “...What?! Where the fuck did she go?!”
He gasped, thinking of their odd encounter last night.
Noah: “I believe she mentioned something about stealing Ivy’s snacks.”
He nodded. He gaped when he caught something in his net. He picked it up and showed it to Jaxon, raising an eyebrow. It was a condom he fished out of the pool.
Jaxon: “What the FUCK?! That’s NOT mine! We don’t use those!”
He groused.
Jaxon: “If only my father did.”
He pouted, thinking of Vanessa. Noah cleared his throat.
Noah: “I will have to drain the pool then.”
He drew a long breath, disposing of the condom and going inside.
When Noah came out, he held up a tape for Jaxon.
Noah: “Jaxon? This came for you at the doorstep, sir.”
Jaxon frowned.
Jaxon: “What disturbing bullshit is it this time?”
He groaned, associating tapes with something disgusting now.
He went inside as Noah, slid the tape into the VCR, and pressed play. The screen was black. Then it showed Celeste with her arms raised above her head, shackled. She had duct tape over her mouth, her boots were removed, and her ankles were shackled. Jaxon’s heart sank.
Jaxon: “CELESTE?!”
He screamed.
Jaxon: “What the FUCK?! WHO DID THIS?! WHERE IS SHE?!”
He trembled with rage. Someone held up a sheet of paper with an address on the screen. It read, “83 Summer Row.” Noah adjusted his glasses to look at the address.
Noah: “That’s an old warehouse down by the boardwalk.”
He informed him. Jaxon hastily rose and grabbed his car keys.
Jaxon: “I’m on it!”
He exclaimed with a determined glint in his eyes.
Noah: “Careful, sir.”
He nodded.
Jaxon: “Thanks!”
He said quickly, dashing out to his car. He slid his key in the ignition, revved the engine, and looked behind him as he reversed out of the driveway. He shifted gears and gunned the accelerator, speeding down the road.
~
He sped down the ramp to an old warehouse by the boardwalk. He parked the car and got out. He slid across the hood of his car and ran for the warehouse. He barged in, kicking the door down, and ran inside.
Jaxon: “CELESTE?!”
He hollered out for her in a panic. He entered a dark area and saw Celeste enclosed in a glass case. She was still shackled, as seen in the tape. Jaxon’s heart sank when he saw her. He rushed up to her and banged on the glass.
Jaxon: “CELESTE!”
He called out for her as he pounded on the glass. Celeste screamed his name through muffled screams and thrashed against her bonds.
Someone appeared in the glass case with her from the shadows. He was a thin Japanese man who wore his red-tinged black hair short and spiky and slicked back with sharp pieces of hair hanging over the left side of his face. He wore a dark red pressed shirt, black tie, black trousers, and black Oxfords. He wore a lab coat over his clothes with an ID tag clipped to his lapels.
Celeste growled at him as the man approached her. He picked her up by the scruff of her neck to stand up, putting his arm over her.
Jaxon: “ICHIRO!”
He bellowed and glared at him, charging at him and angrily pounding on the glass.
Jaxon: “HANDS OFF MY GREEN QUEEN!”
He rasped.
Ichiro: “Or what, Jiro? Do you even realize what she is capable of? No, you don’t know anything.”
He lowered his hands and cupped Celeste’s boobs. Jaxon glared at him with hatred.
Jaxon: “HEY, FUCK OFF FROM HER BOOBS!”
He snapped at him.
Jaxon: “Fuck you, she’s capable of kicking your ass!”
Ichiro: “She’s a fine specimen, this one. She has been on my radar for some time…”
He licked his lips. Celeste growled and tried to thrash and away from him, and get his hands off her boobs. He squeezed her boobs. He lowered his hand to pull up her skirt and sucked on her neck. Celeste glared at him and screamed through her gag like a trapped, cornered cat. Jaxon trembled with rage.
Jaxon: “GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM HER! I’M GONNA KILL YOU!”
He rasped, trying to lunge at him.
Ichiro smirked at him and kissed Celeste through her gag. She yowled into his mouth, glaring at him with a burning rage. Jaxon glared at him with burning hatred.
Jaxon: “GET THE FUCK OFF HER!”
He rasped, charging after him.
Ichiro smirked at him and laughed.
Ichiro: “Oh, Jiro! I have a surprise for you! I have someone I’d like you to meet!”
He went back and kicked a white man in his late sixties with salt and pepper hair, a beard, and in a Johnny shirt toward the glass case.
Ichiro: “This is Allan. He’s going to become your very best friend!”
He chuckled. Allan sobbed. Jaxon’s eyebrows rose.
Jaxon: “Who is he? What the fuck is this?! What are you up to, Ichiro?!”
He hissed and glared at Ichiro.
Allan: “Help me, please!”
He called out to Jaxon.
Ichiro: “Shut up.”
He grabbed his hair, yanked it back, and plunged a needle right in. Allan screamed in pain as the contents of the syringe entered his body. Ichiro pulled the needle out, grabbed Allan’s arm, and kicked him out of the case toward Jaxon. Allan collapsed toward Jaxon’s feet, panting.
Allan: “Wh-What is happening to me?! Where are my wife and my son, and my daughter?! What are you doing with me?!”
He asked Ichiro. Ichiro cupped his mouth and grinned.
Jaxon: “...What the fuck did you just do to him?! What are you pulling, Ichiro?!”
He gasped, looking at him with bewildered horror.
Allan wailed in pain and threw his head back. His skin started melting off his face and dropping to the floor. He made a claw gesture with his hands as his fingers grew and his hands grew larger with long black claws. As his skin melted off and clumps fell to the floor, he started forming green scales. A nasally guttural sound escaped his throat as his nose and mouth extended, forming a broad U-shaped snout like an alligator.
His body grew larger and broader, thick spikes formed on his back, a tail shot out, and horns sprouted from his head. He opened four red, soulless eyes and opened his mouth full of sharp fangs and a long tongue. Jaxon’s jaw dropped at the horror before him.
Jaxon: “...What the fuck is that?! What the FUCK, ICHIRO?!”
He snapped. Celeste’s eyes were wide like saucers at what she saw. She tried to snap out of her bonds and screamed through her gag with fury and panic.
Ichiro: “I made him for you, Jiro. He will be the one to take your life, and I will take this beautiful darling of yours to breed with her.”
He grinned evilly. Celeste screamed through her gag and tried to thrash against her bonds. Jaxon’s heart sank, and he trembled with terror and fury.
Jaxon: “OVER MY DEAD BODY! YOU WON’T FUCKING TOUCH HER!”
He rasped, charging after him again.
Ichiro: “Yes, it will be over your dead body, Jiro. Sayonara.”
The monster grabbed Jaxon by his neck and threw him against the wall. He crashed and fell on the floor. He winced in pain, and before he could heal himself, the monster grabbed him and threw him, slashing at him, tearing his clothes, and drawing blood. Jaxon staggered to get up as blood dripped onto the floor. Celeste screamed through her gag, trying hard to break her bonds.
A red glow surrounded him as he healed his wounds. The monster threw his fist at Jaxon, he quickly dodged the attack by ducking under and sliding on the floor. The monster spun on his clawed feet and threw his other fist. Jaxon blocked his attack and grabbed his fist. The monster shot his claws at Jaxon and embedded them in his arm. He let out a bloodcurdling scream. Celeste gasped through her gag and tried to bite it off.
Jaxon winced in pain and gnashed his teeth. He panted and looked in horror as the creature’s claws were still in his arm. He leaned against the wall, put his feet up, and kicked the monster off himself. When the claws pulled out of his arm, he yelled out in pain and clasped onto his arm, as a red glow emitted from it, healing himself.
The monster clawed at Jaxon’s back, slashing it, grabbed his ankle, and threw him against the floor, where he crashed in, splashing up his blood. Celeste panted as tears streamed down her cheeks. She cried Jaxon’s name through her gag and sobbed.
Jaxon lay in the rubble, covered in blood and bruises. He was getting dizzy as he was losing a lot of blood, and it was making it harder for him to heal himself. He gritted his teeth as the pain overwhelmed him. He slowly raised his head as the creature marched toward him. Blood trickled from his forehead. A red glow surrounded him as he healed himself.
The monster’s claws shot out at him. Jaxon kicked himself up and did a backflip to dodge the attack. He staggered onto the floor when he landed and backed away. He didn’t stand a chance of landing any blows on this thing. He looked behind his shoulder and saw a fuse box with live wires. He backed himself near the fuse box. The creature snorted and charged after him, shooting his claws.
Jaxon ducked and slid under the creature as he landed his claws into the fuse box and live wires. Waves of electricity coursed through the monster. The creature screamed a guttural, gravelly scream as volts of electricity shocked him to the core. The creature backed away as his green scales were singed, and smoke emitted from him. He then collapsed on the ground, closing his eyes, laying his tongue out, and then he died. Jaxon panted and healed himself. He then turned to Ichiro, locking his eyes of burning hatred onto him.
Ichiro’s eyes widened. He clenched his teeth and backed away. He then went out the back of the case to run away.
Jaxon: “YEAH, RUN AWAY, YOU COWARD!”
He barked at him and rushed up to Celeste.
He pressed the button to release her shackles and peeled the tape off her mouth. Celeste threw her arms around him, showering him with kisses.
Celeste: “JAXON!”
She cried on him. Jaxon threw his arms around her, held her close to him, and cried on her.
Celeste: “Are you okay?!”
Jaxon rubbed his hands around her to heal her. Celeste’s breathing hitched.
Jaxon: “Me?! Are you okay?!”
He knit his eyebrows, holding her close to him. She nodded.
Celeste: “Yeah! All he did was touch my boobs, thighs, feet and kissed my neck, and said weird stuff, but what I saw happened to you is what tore me!”
She cried and wiped her eyes. Jaxon held her tightly in his arms and wiped her tears from her cheeks.
Jaxon: “THAT’S SO MUCH WORSE! How DARE he do that to my Green Queen!”
He trembled with fury, holding her protectively to his chest. Celeste caressed his face and sighed. She looked at the monster and him. She placed her hands on the wall of his chest.
Celeste: “Good, quick thinking with that monster.”
She nodded and smiled.
Jaxon: “I learned from the best.”
He kissed her forehead. Celeste smiled and wrapped her arms around him.
Celeste: “Let’s get out of here.”
Jaxon scooped her up in his arms and carried her out of there with him. Celeste wrapped her arms around him, glad he was safe and out of there.
~
Celeste and Jaxon arrived home. Celeste went to their bedroom and flopped face down on the bed. Jaxon climbed onto the bed with her and wrapped his arms around her.
Jaxon: “Are you okay, babe?”
He tended to her, massaging her shoulders. Celeste looked up at him and nodded.
Celeste: “I should be asking you that… You had to defeat that monster on your own.”
She ran her hands all over his chest and saw how torn up his shirt was. She unbuttoned it and brushed the shirt off him. Jaxon sighed.
Jaxon: “You had a monster of your own!”
He twisted his mouth, stroking her cheek. Celeste gazed up at him.
Celeste: “How do you feel, Jaxon? That was your brother… and I don’t know who that man was, but he looked like a patient from the hospital.”
She caressed his face and traced her thumb over his cheek.
Jaxon: “Fucking ICHIRO!”
He gritted his teeth.
Jaxon: “I’m fucking PISSED he did that to you and tried to destroy my life again!”
He fumed, cupping her cheeks. Celeste knit her eyebrows.
Celeste: “And… he was watching us… make…”
She paused and blushed.
Celeste: “Have sex.”
Jaxon’s cheeks reddened.
Jaxon: “Fucking PERVERT!”
He huffed.
Jaxon: “Waah, why can’t you be more like Ichiro? What? A psychopathic pervert?!”
He huffed bitterly.
Celeste: “Do your parents know this? And he also told me… he was jacking off to what he saw.”
She reddened. Jaxon’s face recoiled in disgust.
Jaxon: “Fuck no. Not like they’d believe me anyway. What the FUCK?!”
Celeste: “Us having sex… He said he wanted to have sex with me.”
She inhaled sharply.
Jaxon: “OH GOD, NO!”
He screamed.
Jaxon: “Fucker said he wanted to do more than that… he said he wanted to…”
He pursed his lips and couldn’t finish the sentence. He didn’t want to entertain the idea.
Celeste: “...Breed with me?”
She blinked. Jaxon shuddered.
Jaxon: “NO.”
He rasped. Celeste shifted her eyes.
Celeste: “He said that to me, yes, and he got horny to my legs and feet in fishnets and pantyhose.”
She nodded and cleared her throat. Jaxon covered his ears.
Jaxon: “NO, NO MORE!”
He snapped.
Jaxon: “Those are for me and me only to get horny to!”
He ran his fingers down her legs and to her feet.
Jaxon: “That pervert can keep his hands off!”
Celeste knit her eyebrows and put her hands on his.
Celeste: “You got me from him, Jax.”
She whispered and softly kissed him. Jaxon shivered and kissed her back.
Celeste: “Thank you…”
She whispered and kissed down his neck and chest. Jaxon beamed.
Jaxon: “Of course I did, baby! I know you’re tough as nails, but I don’t wanna let anything bad happen to you!”
He assured her and kissed down her neck. Celeste shivered at his touch and moaned.
Celeste: “My hero…”
She moaned and gazed down at him lovingly. Jaxon beamed and chuckled, kissing her.
Celeste: “What do you say to your lady you just saved?”
She teased.
Jaxon: “...I love you.”
He said softly, kissing her and reddening all over his face. Celeste reddened when he said those words, and her eyes widened. She closed her eyes when he kissed her.
Celeste: “...I love you, too.”
She whispered. Jaxon shivered and blushed. Celeste bit her bottom lip. She didn’t want to admit seeing him blush made her horny.
Deimos poked his head in the room.
Deimos: “What the Hell happened?”
He picked up Jaxon’s shirt, which was torn.
Jaxon: “I need new clothes.”
He laughed a hollow laugh. Tristan looked in and could tell from Jaxon’s expression that something drastic had happened.
Tristan: “Come in and talk to us. We have news, too.”
He said, taking on a somber note. Celeste kissed Jaxon’s chest and rose to talk to Tristan and Deimos in the living room. She slapped Jaxon’s ass as she rose. Jaxon grinned at her, and he rose with her and went with them into the living room to commune.
Tristan: “What happened, Jaxon? I saw your shirt, your expression… What just happened?”
He asked him.
Deimos: “And why is your pool drained? Didn’t Noah just drain it last week?”
Tristan bowed his head.
Tristan: “I reckon they should go first and then us?”
Deimos glanced at Tristan. Jaxon drew a long breath.
Jaxon: “Fucking ICHIRO.”
He slammed his fist down onto the table. Tristan knit his eyebrows. Celeste patted Jaxon’s arm.
Both Jaxon and Celeste relayed the events of what happened that evening to Deimos and Tristan. Tristan cupped his mouth and knit his eyebrows. Deimos bowed his head.
Tristan: “So this is what happened to Allan…”
He muttered. Deimos gaped at him.
Celeste: “Yeah, that’s who Ichiro called him. He injected him with something, and he turned into this gator monster who attacked Jaxon.”
She rubbed Jaxon’s shoulders.
Tristan: “I’m so sorry you two endured this. I don’t know what else to say. This is all so much to process.”
He sighed. Jaxon wrapped his arm around Celeste.
Jaxon: “How dare he do that to my Green Queen!”
He huffed.
Celeste: “Do you know Allan?”
Jaxon: “Who was that guy?”
Tristan: “Was he an older man with gray hair and a beard?”
Celeste nodded. Tristan’s eyelids dipped. He nodded and sighed.
Tristan: “Deimos and I went to the hospital this afternoon to bring him a bottle of wine from Selene Valley. His wife was crying to the nurses that he had gone missing. I found that strange. So this is what happened.”
He removed his glasses to rub his eyes. Deimos knit his eyebrows and rubbed Tristan’s back.
Celeste: “Was he a client?”
Tristan shook his head.
Tristan: “A friend of my grandmother’s. She sent me to bring him a bottle of wine.”
He drew a long breath and cupped his mouth. Jaxon’s eyebrows rose.
Jaxon: “I’m sorry… I had to do what I had to do, and that monster wasn’t him anymore…”
He sighed. Tristan waved his hands around.
Tristan: “Jaxon, I am not blaming you. Your brother injected him and transformed him. He killed him. You were defending yourself from a monster he made.”
He reassured him. Celeste nodded. Jaxon felt at ease with what he said.
Jaxon: “Thanks, man. You’re right.”
He smiled a bit.
Tristan: “Vanessa lost the baby. The toxicology results found ‘Desidox Tetraprine’ in her system. Demetrio was quick to blame Ivy since Ivy shoved her down the stairs in a fit of rage, but this drug in her is not Ivy’s MO. It’s not in a Hallmark movie.”
He rolled his eyes.
Jaxon: “She lost the baby?! YESSSS!”
He gasped with relief and joy. Celeste chuckled. Tristan smiled a bit.
Jaxon: “Desidox Tetraprine?!”
He asked. Tristan nodded and folded his hands.
Tristan: “It’s an abortion inducing pill. You can only get it through a prescription, and it’s not easily obtainable. Vanessa wanted that baby, so she didn’t take it herself.”
He explained.
Tristan: “She has no memory of what happened either.”
He folded his arms over. Jaxon’s face twisted.
Jaxon: “...Hypno-bitch.”
He narrowed his eyes into slits. Tristan flicked his gaze up at him. Celeste recalled her having the same experience the first time she and Jaxon were sort of intimate.
Tristan: “Yes, but… Robin wouldn’t do this on her own. Someone hired her.”
He said evenly.
Deimos: “It’s either your parents or Ichiro, and my money is on Ichiro. Your parents are retarded. No offense, Jaxon.”
He said dryly.
Jaxon: “None taken. Fucking Ichiro.”
He huffed.
Jaxon: “But why, though?”
He turned to Deimos and Tristan for answers.
Tristan: “Simple. Whose video ruined his award acceptance speech? Hers did. He doesn’t strike me as someone who takes kindly to his spotlight taken from him, so he did this to punish her, and possibly blame Ivy if he knows Ivy is the one who is responsible for showing the video.”
He explained. Jaxon’s eyes widened.
Deimos: “Tristan’s dad called him from camp to say it was Ivy’s handwriting that shared the URL. She had that video play at his speech and wanted us to see it.”
Jaxon clapped his hands together.
Jaxon: “Well done, detectives.”
He applauded them both. Tristan beamed at him. Deimos smiled a bit and looked away.
Tristan: “Thanks, Jaxon.”
He said earnestly.
Celeste: “Yeah, Tristan and Deimos are super smart!”
She grinned.
Jaxon: “Very smart!”
Tristan: “But this thing Ichiro did to Allan…, I don’t know what it is or how long this has been going on… but I think if I found out many patients were missing from every hospital where he worked, it would make sense he was using his patients as guinea pigs. And while I believe he killed your grandmother, I don’t know why he did.”
He cupped his mouth. Jaxon froze.
Jaxon: “That is all kinds of fucked up! Ichiro hated horror movies, but he’s literally making a real horror movie! If even you don’t know the answer to something… that scares me.”
He groused.
Tristan: “Spying on you two making love, wanting to breed with Celeste, what he did to Allan and your grandmother, and putting you through Hell, yes, he is terrifying.”
He said with a hint of anxiety in his tone.
