Verdant is an adjective to describe something of bright green color.

 

A hawk can describe a bird of prey typically taking prey on a short chase OR a person who advocates an aggressive or warlike policy, especially in foreign affairs. That adequately describes Celeste!

It's set in 1987 on the Planet Reona. It's about the hapless citizens of Pink Top City and the fight of genetically enhanced people against the group that made them this way.
